In Google Calendar, open Settings, choose Import & export, then choose Export. Google downloads one ZIP containing your calendars.
Household bills
See what is due this month, who is handling it, what has been paid, and who actually paid it. CalDen tracks household bill status without becoming a banking app.
Expected responsibility for the month.
Expected costs across the bill calendars you can see.
What each person actually paid this month, regardless of who was assigned.
Amounts marked with ~ are estimates for bills that can vary.
Everything in order
Family members
Manage sign-in access, roles, passwords, and who events can be assigned to.
Schedule organization
Calendars organize schedules, control event color, and decide who can see or change their events.
Event types
Categories describe what an event is and make filtering easier. The calendar still controls the event color.
Inbox and reminders
New event assignments show up here immediately. Events with nobody assigned notify everyone who can see that calendar.
Assignment and whole-family alerts created when events are added in CalDen.
Upcoming reminder deliveries from the events currently on your calendars.
Connected services
Move existing schedules into CalDen and connect the services your household already uses.
Bring your existing Google Calendar setup into CalDen without creating duplicate calendars or duplicate events. Google Takeout can carry older copies of the same event UID in more than one source file after an event has moved; CalDen treats those as one logical event, previews calendar matches, and lets you approve where every calendar goes.
In Google Calendar, open Settings, choose Import & export, then choose Export. Google downloads one ZIP containing your calendars.
Drop the export below and CalDen will compare calendars, detect repeated Google event UIDs across the export, and keep only the newest copy. Nothing is created during this step.
Accept a suggested match, choose another existing CalDen calendar, skip it, or explicitly create a new calendar. Then import.
Nothing is created until you review the mapping and start the import. The export stays on your CalDen server. If an older CalDen import already created duplicate database rows, use the repair tool below instead of deleting calendars or importing everything again.
Existing CalDen data
Scan the events already stored in CalDen. This does not delete calendars and does not re-import your calendar. Your original Google export is used only to identify which existing CalDen copy is the current one.
Send household-wide event reminders through Monita.
System maintenance
Review releases, safety backup status, installation progress, and rollback before changing the running system.
Data protection
Create complete CalDen backups, keep server-side safety copies, and restore a validated backup without rebuilding the installation.
A restore is validated and staged first. CalDen creates another database safety backup before it applies the restore on restart.
Backups retained on the CalDen data volume, including automatic pre-update and pre-restore dumps.
Change history
A persistent record of schedule, account, integration, and system changes.
CalDen preferences
Control the household, your calendar workspace, and your account from one place.
Your account
Your image is shown on events assigned to you and anywhere CalDen identifies you.
